I created this LEGO IJN Kongo Battleship MOC to capture the sleek and powerful design of one of Japan’s most famous warships from World War II. Did you know that the Kongo was originally built as a battlecruiser but was later upgraded to a battleship?
In this micro-scale model, I aimed to highlight the ship’s long, elegant hull, distinctive superstructure, and dual turrets. The build may be compact, but it’s full of recognizable details that give the Kongo its iconic look.
