LEGO IJN YAMATO BATTLESHIP MOC
This was one of the most power battleships ever built in the history of naval warfare.
I designed this LEGO IJN Yamato Battleship MOC to honor an engineering marvel of its time. A key vess vessel in the Japanese Imperial Navy during World War II, known for its massive size and firepower.
In this micro-scale model, I focused on capturing the ship’s iconic shape and details, from its towering superstructure to its powerful guns. Even though the turrets are static in this version I wanted to keep the design simple yet detailed enough to reflect the true scale of this legendary battleship.

The 1×2 turret parts are pretty rare these days but you can change them with 1×2 hinge bricks instead. It removes 1 barrel per turret but it definitely make building this model cheaper.
