LEGO LOCKHEED C-5 GALAXY MOC

Known for its impressive cargo capacity, the C-5 Galaxy is a true engineering marvel.

I designed this LEGO Lockheed C-5 Galaxy MOC to represent one of the largest military transport aircraft in the world. In this micro-scale model, I’ve focused on replicating the jet’s iconic high T-tail, expansive wingspan, and four-engine design. The C-5 is renowned for carrying oversized cargo and performing rapid deployments, and I wanted to bring those characteristics into this build.

The Lockheed C-5 Galaxy has been in service since 1969 and remains a key part of the U.S. Air Force’s transport fleet. It can carry up to 280,000 pounds of cargo and has been involved in various humanitarian and military operations across the globe. This model captures its sleek and imposing structure in a compact design, making it perfect for those who love build plane models.

MODEL #0026 | 92 pcs.

I used a clever technique with gray colored LEGO Minifigure heads to replicate the massive General Electric TF39 engines.
