LEGO LONDON TUBE 1996 STOCK TRAIN MOC
This model replicates the unique red, white, and blue color scheme of the 1996 Stock, commonly seen on the Jubilee line of the London Underground.
I designed the LEGO London Tube 1996 Stock Train MOC to capture the the form of one of the most recognizable trains in the world. From the slanted roof to the darkened front, every detail reflects the classic design that has transported millions of passengers across the city every day and still does as to this day.
The 1996 Stock was introduced to the London Underground in the mid-90s and is still in operation today. These trains are known for their speed, durability, and capacity to handle the bustling crowds of one of the world’s busiest metro systems. The MOC includes the recognizable front headlights and the iconic streamlined design that makes these trains so memorable.

The only thing this model can’t replicate is the iconic engine whine the 1996 stock produces when accelerating or deceleration. If you ever take the Underground on the lines where this train runs, you will certainly notice the unique noise it makes.
