LEGO SPACE STATION MOC
With this MOC, I’ve tried to recreate the design of both the ISS and Mir stations, balancing the technical details with a clean, futuristic aesthetic.

This LEGO Space Station MOC draws inspiration from two of humanity’s most iconic space stations: the International Space Station (ISS) and the Russian Mir space station. Both stations have played pivotal roles in the development of long-term space habitation and international cooperation in space.
Like the ISS, which is made up of many interconnected modules built by different countries, this LEGO MOC replicates that aspect with a detailed central core and outwardly extending modules. The modular approach allows for customization, just like the real-life ISS, where astronauts continue to add new modules and technology.
The ISS, orbiting Earth since 1998, is a symbol of peaceful international collaboration, with contributions from NASA, Roscosmos, ESA, JAXA, and CSA. Its predecessor, the Mir space station, was operational from 1986 to 2001 and was the first space station to have a long-term crewed mission, setting numerous spaceflight records and paving the way for future space stations.
MODEL #0036 | 42 pcs.
The design of this model captures the modular structure of these stations, with large solar arrays that collect energy and multiple docking ports for spacecraft.
