LEGO USS MONITOR IRONCLAD MOC
The USS Monitor, launched during the American Civil War, changed naval warfare forever with its low-profile design and rotating turret.
This LEGO USS Monitor Ironclad MOC captures the revolutionary design of one of the first ironclad warships ever built. I’ve recreated this historical warship in micro-scale to reflect its unique shape, including the distinctive turret and flat hull.
The ship’s role in the famous Battle of Hampton Roads against the CSS Virginia was a turning point in naval history, and I believe this MOC is a perfect tribute to its legacy. History and LEGO fans alike will find it really easy to build this micro-scaled model of the Civil War era.

I used 2x and 4x sided SNOT bricks to attach most of the hull together which also allowed me to make a smooth hull.
