LEGO USS MIDWAY CV-41 AIRCRAFT CARRIER MOC
One of the most iconic aircraft carriers in the United States Navy, serving for nearly half a century from 1945 to 1992.

The USS Midway (CV-41) was commissioned shortly after the end of World War II. Midway was the lead ship in her class and was initially the largest and most advanced carrier of her time.
This vessel was crucial during the Cold War era, seeing action in various global conflicts, including the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm. The Midway’s adaptability was a testament to the Navy’s evolving strategies, and its modernization over the years allowed it to remain a formidable force on the seas.

The runway was obviously the most complicated part to replicate on this model. Using a combination of flat tiles and wedges, the shape of the runway can be formed to replicate the modern aspects of the aircraft carrier’s runway.
