LEGO USS MONTANA BATTLESHIP MOC
An unrealized piece of naval history.

The Montana-class battleships were planned during World War II to be the largest and most heavily armed battleships ever built by the United States, but none of them were completed due to shifting priorities during the war.
The USS Montana, one of five planned ships in the class, would have been a follow-up to the successful Iowa-class battleships, with even greater size and firepower.
The model includes details like the main battery of 16-inch guns, designed to deliver powerful blows to enemy fleets. Although the Montana-class was canceled in favor of aircraft carriers and faster battleships, their legacy lives on as massive feats of naval engineering.
MODEL #0078 | 133 pcs.
Even at a miniature scale, compared to my other warships, the USS Montana still looks massive compared to even the Yamato.
