3D VIEWER

The Väinämöinen-class coastal defense ship was a significant part of Finland’s naval fleet during World War II. Named after the mythical hero Väinämöinen from Finnish folklore, this ship was designed to protect Finland’s coastline against potential invasions.

Built in the 1930s, Väinämöinen, along with her sister ship Ilmarinen, was armed with a combination of heavy artillery and anti-aircraft guns. These ships played a defensive role in the Gulf of Finland and were particularly active in coastal defense operations.

MODEL #0084 | 95 pcs.

Design-wise, this ship uses the same design of the sister-ship with only some minor adjustment based on its historical counterpart.
