The LEGO Gato Class Submarine MOC pays tribute to the legendary submarines of the United States Navy that served during World War II.
The Gato-class submarines were among the first American submarines capable of long-range missions across the Pacific, contributing significantly to the US Navy’s efforts in the war.
Known for their powerful armament and endurance, these submarines carried out extensive patrols, sinking numerous enemy vessels and severely impacting enemy supply lines.

As my first scaled design of a submarine and the first model featured on Sub-May-Rine Month 2021, the Gato Class submarine was undoubtedly a wise choice to feature. The model features a brand new propulsion system design featuring 2 round 1×1 special plates with a few other special bricks on top of the submarine.
