LEGO RMS QUEEN MARY OCEAN LINER MOC
The original Queen of the Seas.

The RMS Queen Mary, launched in 1934, was one of the most celebrated ocean liners of her time, representing the height of transatlantic luxury and speed.
Built by the Cunard Line, the Queen Mary was famed for her art deco interiors, elegant accommodations, and swift crossings between Europe and America.
During World War II, she was converted into a troopship, known as the “Grey Ghost,” transporting thousands of troops across the Atlantic. After decades of service, the Queen Mary retired in 1967 and now serves as a floating hotel and museum in Long Beach, California, preserving a grand era of ocean travel.
MODEL #0135 | 1:1400 | 135 pcs.
Inclined funnels are a challenge in micro-scale building. Luckily, using one of the recently released 1×1 handle bricks, I was able to attach them to 1×2 modified vertical clip plates which allows to incline the funnels at the desired angle.
I reused the same technique later on other models that also have inclined funnels.
