“The Adventurous” Space Rocket MOC takes inspiration from the golden age of retro-futuristic space exploration design, bringing back the classic look of rockets imagined in mid-20th-century science fiction.
With its smooth cone shape, bold colors, riveted and robust build, this model recreates the adventurous spirit of early space exploration dreams.

I have to say that my source of inspiration for this model came from Wallace & Gromit’s bright orange rocket that helped them travel to the moon in their first episode of adventures.
Of course, instead of a bright orange scheme, I went for a red and gray one with a bright blue round window as its centerpiece. The rocket balances on 3 legs with a circular symmetrical 3-axis design built around a central axle.
The model was actually built for a LEGO Ideas competition back in 2021, but didn’t win a significant position.
