The Seawise Giant, also known as the Knock Nevis, holds the title of the largest ship ever built.
This Ultra Large Crude Carrier (ULCC) spanned an astonishing 1,504 feet (458.45 meters) and was capable of carrying over 564,000 tons of crude oil.
Originally constructed in 1979, the Seawise Giant operated under various names throughout her lifetime, serving as an essential part of the global oil transport network until her retirement in 2009.
Due to her size, the Seawise Giant could not navigate through many of the world’s key maritime routes, including the Suez and Panama Canals, further highlighting her monumental scale.

Compressing this massive ship to be at the same scale as the Maersk Triple E Class Ship MOC wasn’t an easy task. The ship is both wide and long, a behemoth of the seas, reducing it to a 1:2000 scale requires featuring the most important features including the numerous gas pipes, cranks and other stuff while also preserving the draft (height) respective to its real-life counterpart.
