LEGO COSTA CONCORDIA CRUISE SHIP MOC
From paradise to tragedy in a matter of hours. An accident that should have never happened.

The Costa Concordia was a luxury cruise ship that gained international attention due to its tragic capsizing off the coast of Italy in January 2012.
Built in 2005, the Costa Concordia was known for its lavish design, offering multiple dining venues, theaters, and pools, making it a popular choice for Mediterranean voyages.
Sadly, on the night of January 13, 2012, the ship struck a submerged rock near the island of Giglio, resulting in a catastrophic accident that led to the evacuation of thousands of passengers and crew. The incident marked one of the most significant maritime disasters of the 21st century, leading to extensive discussions on cruise ship safety and operational protocols.
MODEL #0145 | 1:1400 | 244 pcs.
The more I create, the better I get. This model in particular is my most detailed modern cruise ship LEGO model yet.
I replicated the Costa Concordia in her glory days, before the tragic accident. I included the life boats, the top deck pool, the front panoramic-view balconies and the iconic “C” funnel from Costa Crociere (which operated the ship at the time).
