LEGO SS ILE DE FRANCE OCEAN LINER MOC
Between elegance and modernity, a ship of a new era.

The SS Île de France, launched in 1926, was a luxurious ocean liner operated by the French Line (Compagnie Générale Transatlantique).
Known for its groundbreaking Art Deco interiors, the ship epitomized elegance and modernity, making it a favorite among transatlantic travelers. The Île de France served as a symbol of French innovation and style, offering an unparalleled level of sophistication in its time.
During World War II, the ship was requisitioned for military use and played a significant role in troop transport and supply missions. After the war, it returned to passenger service before being retired in 1960.
MODEL #0163 | 1:1400 | 118 pcs.
This model is pretty much a combination of my Titanic, Lusitania and Carpathia models. A lot of the early-20th century ships shared similarities in their hull design, what set them apart mostly were their interiors and the experiences they offered to their passengers.
