LEGO SS AMERICA OCEAN LINER MOC
A ship that lived through 4 different interesting phases.

The SS America, launched in 1939, was a known ocean liner operated by the United States Lines.
The America was designed to symbolize the luxury and efficiency of transatlantic travel. During World War II, the ship was requisitioned and transformed into the troopship USS West Point, transporting soldiers and equipment across the globe. After the war, the America returned to passenger service, where it continued to charm travelers for decades. Tragically, after changing hands multiple times, the ship ran aground off the Canary Islands in 1994, marking the end of its storied career.
MODEL #0185 | 1:1400 | 115 pcs.
This model is identical to the other 3 ship models of the same ship but under a different name. However, each ship comes with different features depending on what the original ship was used for. In this case, the SS America accommodated amenities for passengers and had more vibrant tones.
