This micro-scale LEGO MOC recreates the Finnish Submarine Vesikko, built with just 26 pieces in approximately 1:500 scale. It’s the first model in the 2025 SubMayRine Month series and also the 27th Micro Monday MOC!

The Vesikko was launched in 1933 and served in the Finnish Navy during World War II, patrolling the Gulf of Finland. It remains the only Finnish submarine preserved today and is on public display at the Suomenlinna Sea Fortress in Helsinki. The Vesikko also holds historical significance for being the prototype for Germany’s later Type II U-boats, making it a rare piece of naval engineering history.
