LEGO MV BRITANNIC MOC
Not to be confused with the HMHS Britannic or the SS Britannic.

The MV Britannic, launched in 1929, was a British ocean liner operated by the White Star Line, serving as a companion to the RMS Majestic and RMS Olympic. Designed for transatlantic crossings, it was the first motor vessel in the White Star fleet, powered by diesel engines instead of traditional steam turbines.
The ship had a long and varied career, including troop transport duties during World War II, before being retired and scrapped in 1960.
MODEL #0308 | 1:1400 | 82+13 pcs.
I had to go through many design changes on this model. Mainly the width had to correspond both with the bulky upper part of the ship and the hull. Other than that, as many ships from the early 20th century, this one does share some similarity with other known ships of the time.
The dimensions below indicate the size of the model without the display stand. The dimensions in the building instructions include the stand.
| Units | Width | Length | Height |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studs | 2.4 | 18.4 | 6.2 |
| Inches | 0.8 | 5.8 | 2.0 |
| Centimeters | 1.9 | 14.7 | 5.0 |
