Just like the previous MOC of a “Panelák”, panel buildings come in different shapes. Some accommodate flat without balconies, others have balconies from side to side making them look thinner and taller in a crowded urban area.

These buildings were cheap, easy and fast to build and were massively popular during the Cold War in the Eastern Bloc.

In Bratislava, you’ll find similar panel apartment building near the Danube river when heading towards the city center from Karlova Ves.
