LEGO USS WASHINGTON (BB-56) BATTLESHIP MOC
It’s not a battleship class if there’s only one ship.
Meet the USS Washington.

The USS Washington (BB-56) was a North Carolina-class battleship and a key asset to the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Commissioned in 1941, she earned a reputation for her combat effectiveness and resilience in some of the most intense Pacific theater battles. Notably, the Washington played a decisive role in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal in 1942, where she inflicted significant damage on Japanese forces, marking a turning point in the campaign.
Armed with nine 16-inch guns and state-of-the-art radar technology for the era, she was a symbol of American naval power and innovation.

The advantage of making sister ships of the same class is that you don’t need to make a completely new design. But, you must pay attention to the most notable differences between them to avoid confusion. For instance the USS Washington had a different tower compared to her sister. The secondary weapons on the sides are also placed in a different way when comparing both ships.
