The LEGO MV Blue Marlin MOC highlights one of the world’s most powerful heavy-lift ships, known for its capability to carry exceptionally large loads across the seas.
Designed as a semi-submersible vessel, the real MV Blue Marlin can lower its deck beneath the water to load cargo, then resurface with its payload. Famous for transporting massive structures, including oil rigs and damaged ships like the USS Cole, the Blue Marlin has set a standard in the field of maritime heavy-lift operations.

I designed this ship in two color schemes. While the red one is closer to its 2000’s default red color scheme, there’s also a blue one it was painted in later on while it was carrying the USS Cole. You can check out the LEGO MV Blue Marlin ft. USS Cole MOC to see the second version of the model.
