The LEGO “Casabianca” Redoutable Class Submarine MOC pays tribute to the heroic French submarine from World War II, the Casabianca. Part of the Redoutable class, the Casabianca became legendary for its daring missions in the Mediterranean Sea, often slipping past German and Italian defenses to deliver essential supplies to the French Resistance.
Under the command of Capitaine de Corvette Jean L’Herminier, this submarine carried out multiple covert missions that strengthened the French resistance efforts and showcased the bravery of its crew.

Going on with the flow of designs for Sub-May-Rine Month 2021, I designed this submarine based on the techniques and structures of the LEGO Gato Class Submarine MOC and the newer version of the LEGO U-505 Submarine MOC.
The thing that makes this submarine stand out the most is its unusual color scheme which was used during a brief moment of its “secret” service. I applied this color scheme in order to make it stand out from the other submarines I already had built.
